@RY_VW the reflex silver really suits silver alloys, ours is silver on silver, I would have liked black on our maxi like on our Volvo, there a Matt/satin finish on the Volvo, with a diamond cut finish on the face, only thing is the black finish shows any sign of brake dust and contamination. I always find black alloys look small against the black of the tyre as well.
When I fit the alloys on the van I gave them a good coat of poor boys wheel sealant. Brake dust just rinses off now and they always look clean.

@ wildybeast they look mint as well. Very similar to our Volvo wheels

Thanks for the pics. Great work Ime just about to do the same with my morimotos . Which and where did you get the shrouds from.? How are you wiring the Headlight flash as i think they wont be instant on .My idea was to use DRL or Fogs s as flash.Keep us updated.

I'm using morimoto d2s 5.0 .
Shrouds are 3" ...vw r32 design or something similar.
...they are all from the retrofitsource .
High beam will be on same projector with actuator .
I've got some relay adaptor wiring from the original h4 3 pin plug to : a. D2s bulb hid
b. High beam actuator
Flash should be through the relay wiring
https://ibb.co/sWZXstr
If low beam voltage is missing... on flash it will power both....low beam and actuator.

Our ex BG van has only done 36,000 miles but it's now 5 years old so yesterday for peace of mind, got the timing belt changed at our local garage. They also changed the water pump and gave it an oil & filter change. Drained the bank balance though
