Hi everyone,
I have a 2012 mk3 Caddy and I swapped the engine to a 2007 mk2 TT 3.2 V6 BUB engine. I have the wiring loom, ecu, cluster from the TT, but I was told I need to get new ecu and wiring loom from a R32 mk5. I'm struggling to understand why. Could someone explain why the TTs parts are not compatible?
I'm running my own garage, so not completely clueless, but this is something I've never done.
Also, if you have anyone who is in Basingstoke area to come and do the wiring for me or at least put me in the right direction it would be much appreciated. I have contacted DW Automotive - but he isn't responding to my messages, emails or calls, so anyone else would be great.
Thank you very much in advance

Re: Caddy mk3 3.2 V6 BUB conversion
Could be because the caddy is golf 5 platform, PQ35 so may be the TT is not the same.
No idea where Basingstoke is exactly but is RMS Diagnostics near you? Bob is a very clever guy - he may be able to help or point you to someone who can, worth a phone call.

Re: Caddy mk3 3.2 V6 BUB conversion
When I did my 3.2 conversion I didn’t use the (A3 TT) wiring loom I used the caddy loom with the extra wiring that I bought. I used the Audi ecu and I bought touran petrol cluster and sent it off to be reprogrammed to the caddy with the ECU. If you want someone to do the wiring for you the best guy I could recommend is Andy bloxsome from overboost he will travel to you.
