Mk4 cruise control codes

Hi guys, does anyone have the coding to retrofit cruise control in a mk4? I have fitted the stalk and the clock ring looks like its the correct one. 5K0 953 569 BC. Just need the coding i think, i have obdeleven if any u guys can help with that. Thanks.

Do i need any other parts? I have the stalk and a highline clock ring according to the rosstech chart.

I bought switch gear 5k0953502M,can anyone tell me if i have all the bits i need and if i have the correct items plz? Thanks

The coding for the stalks you need to go into
Control units - engine 01 long coding byte 5
bit 5 (cruise control ) in the drop down box tick installed then save

then go to steering column 16 long coding page 1 as the first page is in German
go to byte 02 then bit 4 (cruise control) in the drop down box select via turn signal lever and hit save.

Thanks gary. Iv only got obdeleven to code it in. Do u know if this will do it? And i dont understand german if u know how to swap it to english lol. Does the mk4 have the scm built into the slip ring as i cant seem to find one around the column?

You can do long coding in obdeleven but the descriptions in German can't be changed to read in English.

Garage > vehicle > modules > long coding (for the module you need, from the list) then select correct bytes and bits as above. Ignore descriptions in obdeleven, follow the instructions above and remember bit 0 is at the top of each section, for each byte. it's not like vcds where it's shown horizontally left to right. Bytes are left to right but bits are top to bottom below them.

Looks like a problem with the stalks... do the indicators work....
