When i got the van there were a couple of things hard wired. The horn and the windscreen wash. There 2 buttons on the dash now, but I figured that was either a cluster or clock spring fault and its been driving fine for the past 12 months soi have left those alone for now.
Recently the battery was going flat if i never used the van for a few days, a jump start worked every time. Got the odd weird fault, lights staying on or flashing which i assumed were to do with the imobisers or something like that, but i left the van run for 30 mins and next day van started fine with no faults.
I have now replaced the 027 with an 096 but since I changing the battery i'm now getting weird faults (no wipers, door window switches not working, no radio, no indicators and the lights staying on) Central locking not working but can unlock passenger door with switch on door with key in ignition but the back doors not unlocking.
Is this possibly a dead BCM ?
