You shouldn’t be having them issues. I’m sure Darkside will sort it mate. I can imagine your pain if you travelled a fair distance too then have issues. Hope you get sorted pal.

Re: What did you do to your van today?
Seems to me that those numbers are flywheel numbers.
In any case, has it been tuned on the dyno or was it a pre-tuned file they just put on?
Surely if it has been tuned on the dyno, the tuner would have noticed the revdrops and either told you about it or fixed it at that time.
Doesn't seem like the Darkside quality that I've heard and read about...

And yes that's flywheel numbers and yes on a Dyno, took the whole day, was fine for the first 120 miles apart from the rev drop in 3rd once, which I wasn't 100% sure on. Then on re joining motorway 5th started over revving

Re: What did you do to your van today?
Seeing as you're overrevving in 5th, and I'm assuming you have a 5 speed manual, and you're running over 300 ftlb of torque.. I think it's slipping your clutch.
5 speed manuals are, from what I've told, best to be limited at 350Nm or 260 ftlb of torque.

@Ripley55 cheers mate, yea your quite close to me I think, I'm in kings Langley, it was a mission of a drive, left at 4.45 this morning to get there for 7.45.
But on the plus side to this, the van is amazing, had a new base model Audi TT in the second lane try to squeeze Infront of me, he couldn't pull on me at all. It's a completely different van. Love it, spent most of the way home giggling to myself like a kid

Re: What did you do to your van today?
@Proempie that did cross my mind cause that's how it did feel, surely they would know of this if it's a major issue on an 18 plate van, they do countless caddys

Yeah I think that's the whole issue. For now, keep your right foot under control.
I know it's hard and I also was giggling like a kid when I experienced over 200hp in my Caddy, but replacing the clutch is an expensive one.
Hope you hear from them and get it sorted mate!

Re: What did you do to your van today?
I’m sure they will too @gazza31112
I’m a 2.0 Maxi Life on a 18 plate, dyno read 148 as standard, and I’m looking for 190 or so, and a touch better on the economy with a little bit of a smile

Re: What did you do to your van today?
Hope much did you pay for the remap if you don't mind me asking? I was thinking of getting it done and there are a few places near me, awesome GTI is one so just wondering if there's much difference in cost.

Re: What did you do to your van today?
Paid £240 deposit and £240 today so was £480 total, I'm starting to think it's my clutch, with the remap just highlighting its on its way out @40k
