@benj87
Will take pics for you tomorrow when it’s light, I used one of the spare permanent live fuses, just checked using my multi meter.
Will Bob photo up once I’m home from work tomoz afternoon.
Was really easy to wire, and hide cable behind the a pillar trim and headlining.
Works a treat with the smart parking mode, especially after having two vehicles damaged by footballs and people unable to reverse correctly in the past.

Eventually got around to upgrading the speakers. Removed the front tweeters and door speakers and replaced with custom fitted Audison Widebands in the A pillar sail panels, Audison door speakers, processor and sub. Wanted to keep the original head unit as I’ve now got Apple CarPlay on it.
Professional set up.....Amazing difference!!Image

Thanks Proempie....really impressed with the Audison quality!
Can’t take all the credit as it was recommended, fitted and set up by a chap called Nick who runs Cornwall in-car Audio and AV. Really clever chap and knows his stuff. Highly recommend the chap.

Very nice setup, I've got my eye on the active version of that subwoofer.
Where have you got it mounted?
That amplifier is a cracking piece of equipment, I wish I could justify the cost.

Yeah it’s not cheap Doc.... the chap that fitted it dropped me in it by mentioning the cost in front of my misses when I dropped the van off to him!!
The processor is fitted under the front passenger seat and the sub is behind the rear passenger seat. I’ve got this set up so I can easily remove it on the rare occasions when I need the whole of the cargo area

Pretty sure the sub would also fit under the seat.. but don't hold me to it!

You can not go wrong with Audison. Once all the speakers are properly broken in, you'll know what you've spent on.
Especially if the system is properly set up too.
I've got Pioneer in my van because of sponsorship but when I have the chance, I'm going Audison too.
Subwoofer and amplifier however will always be Skar or DC Audio.

Good to know I’ve spent well! Makes me feel better :D
I don’t think I’d get the sub under the seats....it’s pretty big!

I'm in the middle of doing it atm, but its a dam sight easier than removing the whole dashbaord.
i'm following this guide

except i have the full loom instead of making up the loom for this plug. and I've figured out the blower position problem the guy in the video is having

Fitted new seats today from a 2017 Audi A1 Sport. Bought them for £84 each on eBay from a breakers. They fit straight on the Caddy bases. The only bit that wasn’t absolutely straightforward was the seatbelt warning connection which uses a different connector on the Audi seats. It’s only two wires so chopping the connectors off and crimping on a couple of spade connectors does the trick. The Audi seats are a lot more comfortable than the Caddy ones, but they are quite narrow, so probably not for those with a fuller figure.

My god, you guys are all making it very difficult to choose a seat, haha!
