So after looking on here, are 19x8.5 et45 pretty good fitment without effecting the sliding door etc?

Those are the safe specs for 19" alloys on a caddy2k.
2013 Caddy with EA888 Gen3 2.0TSI DSG, Superplus MSP19 , Caddy4 rear lights, Polo GTI (mk7 style) steering wheel, Relentless Tuning front coilovers, Audi A6 S-Line front seats, Boxster fronts & GTI rear Brakes, 3D Colour Premium dash cluster, Caddy life arm rest, Motexion bulkhead, MIB head unit

Plenty of food for thought in here. Any more pics of them on 17"+ steelies? I live in a rural area and run 16" alloys as 18's get battered with all the potholes, so thinking larger steelies would fare better

19” 8.5J ET42 wheels from alloys-direct.

Lowered using Stance+ street kit coilovers and axle flip
I can confirm that there is no clearance issues or rubbing with this set up.
I’ve put this in so that people searching can find it... I know I had a ball ache getting all the info together!
