Cruise Control - 2012 2.0 4motion Manual Maxi

Hi, I've been trying to find a supplier for aftermarket cruise control kit for my Caddy Maxi, but all of the reputable looking ones on Ebay are for 2010 or younger, and I can't find one, including the cable which appears to be required to go to the ECU, for my model. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I've also seen that some ECU/Modules can need replacing. Where do I find the code for mine to check if this is the case?

I've not yet been granted access to the majority of the forum to be able to check the threads there.

I thought as much, but sadly I'm not yet able to access this, was trying to wait until I had access to try and avoid asking, but it's been over a week (since requesting to have my membership upgraded) and it's getting to the point where I really want to get it sorted before a trip next week.

iv just put these stalks on cruise and MPG,RANGE and activeated through VCDS and it works,
go off the part numbers

Managed to find one on ebay (marked as for Golf MK 6 2011 onwards) for not as cheap as that, but for nearly 1/3 what I could get from one of the VAG Retrofit shops, hopefully fitting it won't be too bad! I'll find out tomorrow.

Thanks for looking, I think I'd seen that one earlier, but there's something weird with the listing, every time I look on it it says it's been removed, even though it comes up on the search still. I've ordered one now anyway (although about twice as much as your's as apparently it's genuine and new), so hopefully it'll work!

Hi duduk, the cruise control works, however it has stopped the MFD toggle control working. I'm not sure if this is due to me plugging in a cable wrong (or not), or something in the coding, but I have heard hints that there is a caddy specific version of the part I've ordered which has a different right stalk. Going to contact the seller to query this, but won't have a chance to investigate properly for a week or so as going on a trip and don't want to stop the cruise working.

Anyone know about the right stalk? It doesn't appear simple to switch the stalks between the two units, but I haven't tried yet.

Ignore my previous post. Just went into the coding with the VCDS and turns out somehow my wiper stalk control of the display had been disabled. Ticked this box (in the Steering Wheel section I think) and it's all sorted!

Just a question on these stalks. Would it work on a caddy that didnt come out with it as standard

I've had cruise retro fitted on Octavia's & A2's with no issue, the A2 needed a wire running from the ecu which the installer made as the genuine article was expensive, his eBay shop is here: stores.ebay.co.uk/hazzydayzltd/
