looking for suggestions on alloys

guys im looking for opinions on alloys for the caddy ive sold the 16s and now wanna upgrade to 17s or 18s now bearing in mind i might not get to lower it am i better off going for 17s or go all out and fit 18s whats the difference in ride quality ?

Hey, Liam. I've said it before and I'll say it again - 18's mate. Although I haven't had 17's, I find the 18's give a decent ride (even with eibach lowering set up). I also think that 18's fill the arches much better. Up to you mate - but that's my tuppence worth!

No, mate - genuine BBS CO's. Look very similar to CH's, without the wallet emptying cost!! Was umming and arring for a while - was gonna go rep route (LM's etc) but just know (after having a few sets of BBS in the past) that quality shines through.

Your choice, Liam - but I would always consider spending a bit more...the strength of genuine wheels is superior to reps', particularly the ones that come out of China. Not trying to teach you to suck eggs, just don't want you to piss money down the drain bud.

ok rang a load of places about tires today and one of my mates was trying too to see what sort of twine for a set of bbs ch replicas or just tires for a second hand set ! lakeland tires could do the bbs ch replicas for €820 euro incl tires and cheapest tires i could find were 80 euro each roughly

mate said to contact east coast alloys in ardee to get a price on tires and when on there i said u hardly do the bbs reps he said he had the ones im after and can do me a set of 225 40 18s on bbs ch reps for 650 euro fitted

so collecting them on friday morning all going to plan couldnt turn them down at that price

thats very cheap liam i got my 17" rs4's off east coast alloys and they were 650 fitted, did ya do a deal with him or sumthin? just workin outside ardee at the min out the kells road so i might see ya on the road!!

i wouldnt think he would make a mistake about price the same fella!! i was in there this evenin just after wrk he has loads of nice rims id want to try about ten sets on the van to see which ones were the best before id buy
