Hi.
A tip....
Though your panel has a blank. This can be swapped over to a new panel, and the button put onto your old panel, for resale?
Behind your blank is a working switch mechanism.
If you can't pm yet, you can email me andrew@caddy2k.com

Had a guy lined up to fit them two weeks ago, and he’s dropped me and left country. Why is it only polish that I can find to do work to Vw’s anyone know anyone in brum area who can do this work. I don’t fancy melting my harness!

It should be an easy mod to do with the instructions you will have been supplied with the harness. I’m
No mod god but found it quite easy to do my
Golf R seats.

Maybe I should just jump in with two feet.
Do you have to remove part of dash? Under wheel.

How did you code heated seats in?

I took my radio out and removed the heater control panel so I could see where the wires plugged in. You need to drop your fuse box to add the two wires. Also one wire goes to the bcm which is by the fuse box. And earths are straight forward on each side of the sill. Just lay the loom out as shown in the diagram and follow it step by step. Then put your seats back in and plug them in and add the fuses to the fuse box. Remember the seats need to slide backwards and forwards so be sure to make sure the loom is has some slack at the seat end.
It’s not really coding you need to do but you will need vcds to activate the heated seats and save the settings. It’s pretty straight forward really. Took me about 30 mins from start to finish.

Did you get the heated Seat control module when you bought the loom? That just clips under the passenger seat.
