Looking good mate. Nice work on the arch liners, and love the fuel cap.

@james400
Love that R8 flap J! You bonding that in buddy or doing ant welding as its a bloody big panel that to distort with heat isn’t bud! Be interesting to see how you route the filler as its bloody tight to get the loop in to the standard flap! Headaches r us aye buddy hahaaa

Hi mate I'm going to 3d print the brakets then bond it on the inner quarter with some windscreen Bonding to be honest it will be pretty straightforward it will just mirror the other side and the inner panel will

Caddy 4 wheel drive build
Not yet buddy and will look at that tomorrow now seeing as my sheets aren’t in to start on the tank!
Im not sure which way we should extend the lower support arms that the short drop links fit onto. Im thinking of cutting the end off where the rubber bush is and slicing a pipe down the centre and slotting it onto the lower bracket and welding it on then thread one end where it goes into the original Caddy bracket where the leaf spring used to attach to making it adjustable enabling md to centralise the wheel perfectly!
This bracket ...
Needs extending about 8 inches and i’d rather extend that plate to attach to the original Caddy bracket rather than weld a new one really. Be far stronger attaching to where the leaf use to be. What du think?

Re: Caddy 4 wheel drive build
Problem with that is it want work the way your thinking I've been down that root when I was doing mine it puts more pressure on the other bushes and when you come to track it up the adjustment is a nightmare I did see one cut the arm and weld it up so it's a straight arm but in my my opinion that was abit of a Bodge is it much out? If it's only afew mill you can get adjust bushes for them ones

Caddy 4 wheel drive build
@james400
Ye ... the end of the plate is about 200mm from the original bracket ... agree thats the easiest way of doing it J just make and weld new brackets on to the chassis but I think i’d rather extend those plate approx 8” and have them fix onto the original brackets J. How have you done yours buddy? Welded new brackets like this?
