Ok, Not a duck but here is my dashboard mascot. Given to me by the other half when I was battling work over losing private use of my company vehicle without them compensating me. 6 months later and after an appeal hearing I won my case. the money went towards the caddy and on the first day the mascot came out of the wrapper and reminds me not always to accept the answer NO.
Just had the alloys lightly refurbished and colour changed to satin black. Going to wait a few weeks before fitting them but should look good against the pure grey paint.
Great to hear you stood your ground and won! I think everyone's mascot has meaning mine isn't quite the same but it reminds me of my gran and she loved the scenic route (code word for my grandad always getting lost) so now I'm planning a European road trip and the blackbird gets to come along too.
Thanks for that, doing an appeal hearing is not something I would want to again soon. I must admit I've spent about 3 months deciding on the wheel colour and finish. I did see quite a dark finish on a set of Skoda alloys the other day, probably something like gunmetal. Only gone with black as I'm leaving the bumpers unpainted (i think all pure grey is a bit overpowering) and chose the satin finish as I was in the wheel refurb place. Hopefully the satin finish will match in with the plastic trim.
