Have reworked the front centre console button panel to fit the dashboard buttons from a Polo 6C so that the hazard switch and other buttons matched. Then wrapped it in some milano suede of course Image

Looks like I have a lot of reading to do. I’m pretty new to the Caddy but reasonably familiar with VWG and I’ve started doing bits with mine to make it a nicer place to be in when driving.

Looks like you’ve done loads of great jobs with yours from what I have seen so far

Not a Caddy mod but I've brought a shitty Touran to donate its dashboard and seats! I will be selling parts so if anyone is interested in carpets, door cards, or rear seat conversion let me knowImage

Had holiday to use so have had a solid week off to do Caddy stuff.
I liked the Touran dash but preferred the circular vents of the Caddy, especially with the Audi vents, so with a lot of cutting and melting and filler I've grafted them into the vent surrounds of the Touran. I've also fitted the climatic wiring and sensors from the Touran so no more getting too hot or cold on long drives!
Just got to fit the Golf headlight switch into the Touran trim, finish my glove box and come up with a tweeter grill design I likeImageImageImageImageImageImage

Some more improvements and a massive visual upgrade
Looking good
What's the final plan for the dash, covering with something ?

I won't be covering the original dash surface with anything but all hard scratchy plastics will be covered by a soft touch vinyl or milano suede. I've got the headlight trim panel completed and have been working on the glove box this weekend. Waiting for the glue to dry sticking the door back together then once that's set it can be fitted. The last bit will be the tweeter grills as I wasn't happy with them

Something completely unnecessary I made was that bit of cloth between the steering column and gauges. Grey stitching down either side to match the rest of the interior ImageImage

It opens using the solenoid and cable from an Audi A6 glovebox and is operated by the power button in front of the gear stick. I went back and forth so many times doing this and yet don't have any photos other than this one but you can see the cable that's attached to the Touran release mechanism and it's then fed through the right hand side hinge to the solenoid on the back of the glove boxImage

New hybrid stalks fitted! This time with no rear wiper symbols and the proper pcb board in the cruise control stalk with the resistors moved around to work properly as opposed to my previously modified stalk to fit the Caddy/Golf cruise control boardImage
