hi im new here, just about to go out on the hunt for my first caddy as planning a camper convertion been inspired by the convertion by AJC convertions ( http://www.ajcconversions.co.uk/caddy-1 ) thinking of doing something simular as im pritty short so shouldnt need much room.

already purchased tent that has a front opening with verry close dimentions to the rear of a caddy and an additional side door. so looking for a tailgate (i know gold dust) idea would be reverse in and use as a rear awning once set up.

any advice in what to be wary of when looking for my first van would be appreciated.

as i live in the middle of Birmingham (im talking middle of city no parking ect) looking at the swb also i really love the smooth finish u get on the blank side of the swb

loads of plans in my head from sound system - convertion - 6 speed box, just trying to prep and budget as much as possible before hand as going to be begging the bank for the cash for the lot and the insurance as 24 and had to retake license due to poor driving as a kid (18 y/o idiot + saxo = ban)

any advise that may save a little cash in my pocket will be greatly appreciated
