Nice work @ petrev was there much involved with this swap over of the heating controls . Is it a Big job ??.

I have mk7 GTD seats in my van although the heated seats aren’t hooked up yet and I am planning to do this mod at some point. What would I need to complete the swap . Van currently has air con .similar panel with exception of heated seat button in middle. Is yours the 3 way heated seat control. ?

Hi,

Upgrade I did is Manual AC to Climatic AC (Semi-Auto) and has 3 Level heated seat option though that isn't wired in yet.

Climatic - How-to

Very nice and straight forward.
I used right (driver) footwell for 1 sensor, and just above and behind the AC panel into the drivers centre vent feed tube, just behind the pull off vents.

Heated seats are best done with a loom from tommyzooom or Stan-the-man

Nice worthwhile mod

@petrev it’s definitely in the pipeline I like the idea of the climate control ac and having the heated seats all working . Seen a few done with aftermarket switches for the heated seats but I’d like to keep mine looking factory. Thank you for sending the link to this buddy very much appreciated and the helpful information.

Been such a nice day I thought I'd change out the rear axle and all the lowering plates/brackets, for the axle I took out my old van, as they were the bolted type lowering plates, also had a noise wheel bearing, I fitted the weld on type bracket on the other vans axel much better method I think, ImageImageImage

Yes! Looking good :)
Now you need a stalk upgrade to complement the wheel. It's inevitable! :)

Top smart
Thanks Giddy

I actually really like my stalks.
Don't know what an upgrade would do extra ?

It'll give you the up to date look. Nothing extra from the functional point of view.
