Yeah there the same mirrors as mine then mate.
I’ve seen the aftermarket ones on Wish and AliExpress but didn’t know they were shallower.
I’m more worried about breaking the covers getting them off than anything. Haha. Was it easy enough to feed the wires through? I’ve seen the “how to”
But that’s for the older elephant eared mirrors I think.

Very easy to feed through. Once you’ve removed the covers, take the mirrors of the van and when you feed the wires through, lift the foam cover you’ll see the wires, easy to get hold of and pull through

I've got a long way to go. That blue caddy!

I done a couple of things today.

Finally removed the ply floor, drilled out some stubborn screws, sound deafened the floor and then put flooring insulation on.

Stuffed insulation everywhere I could get my hands.

Added a bit more left over deadening to the wheel arches.

Then I started carpeting the back. One full ply line done, rear door arch too. It went dark and now I've given up as I can't see anything.

Closed the rear door to find I've stuffed a little too much insulation in and it's catching the door mechanism.

Tomorrow will be:

°sort door mechanism
°finish carpeting other side of van ply lining
°carpet the window and door ply panels
°carpet the roof panels
°maybe get some more insulation from B&q for the roof.
°adjust the width of the wooden flooring

Still trying to decide weather or not to remove the bulk head and move the seat back on its rails as I'm quite tall.

Done my stuff listed on the tomorrow bit.

Ran out of glue for the carpet with just one panel left!

Turns out I ordered 90 more longer clips than I needed.

Put in a cc stalk, led lichting in the cargo area, new airfilter.

Replaced heater resistance, now 0, 1,2,3 and 4 work instead of 0 or 4.

Placed a reflector in the empty hole in the door.

Replaced a broken vent with a salvaged ventilator outlet in the dashboard

I can confirm, this part really lives up to your expectations.
I traveled all the way to Düsseldorf to get some last year.

Built 2 x led strips for the roof....went to install roof panels that were freshly carpeted, but the strip in the middle needs longer pins....I can't find them anywhere.

Can anyone point me in the right direction at all, please?

Thanks
