Had the Remap sorted my Matt at Dub Unit. So much better than the original remap I had done elsewhere last year. Smooth power delivery and even better mpg on the motorway. 56mpg on cruise at 70! So pleased. Cheers Matt

@r8umar loving the new screen tint, does it help reduce glare?

I haven't been using the Caddy and the battery keeps running super low so I got the trusty C-Tec out today for a recondition charge.
Half of the battery box is missing and I thought the cold might be making it worse so I made a temp one out of the end of a PPF box

Is the O-ring really necessary?
Not if you pour the oil in carefully, it's just to prevent spillage from running under the cover. I expect it's pretty cheap to buy compared to the other parts though....

@katiecaddy hi, thanks alot. Its meant to help keep the cabin cool when it's sunny. Haven't had much of that at the moment so can't say if that's true. But it is will reduce glare when its sunny for sure. I had it fitted because I like the way it looks.

Pendle remap done yesterday. The Dyno printouts show a healthy increase in power from 158hp/341nm torque to 197hp/408nm.
Drives lovely!

....also replaced the 19” alloys a few weeks back to gun metal Golf R Pretoria 18’s. (I know.... needs lowering

)
Wasn’t happy with the ride on the 19s and had to get 2 of them welded due to cracks from so many pot holes in the roads!
Much happier with the 18s.

Which ones did you use? I'm using Xenon colour temperature halogens, but would prefer LED

@Dubsley. What’s the beam pattern like on these? Do they throw a good beam on the road?
I assume they’re plug and play?
