@hef355 tbh i wouldn't be that fussed but some customers kick up a fuss and enough for audi to bring out a fix however the flaps weren't a replaceable part and so the whole centre/rear section was to be replaced.
Should look and sound decent, i look forward to seeing it

Thank you buddy! I’m just looking into the wiring of the flaps. I’ve never driven an RS3 so not sure what triggers them to open and close. I suspect they open on dsg sport mode and close in normal drive mode. May look into just a manual switch operation too. You still with Audi buddy?

@hef355 no i left nov last year. I think the plugs are only 2 wires per flap if i remember so should be nice and easy to fit a manual button. Yes it activates through various drive modes via the audi mmi system. Lovely cars and ive always wanted one but out of my price bracket. In the 5yrs i was there they only had brakes and tyres and the odd exhaust rattle, all other stuff we never saw an issue with. Lovely cars.

@Crazy7ony ... ahhh but must be a great place to work though for such a formidable brand! Although i’d be no good whatsoever with these king kong hands of mine other than using them as hammers perhaps alongside your foul but fluent language

When my boy was buying his mini Cooper, I had a look round the full on JCW cooper in the showroom.....that had a flap button on the keyfob?
Awesome! I wanted to buy it for that alone!
