I taped over the bumper, drew the arch and went round with a 3mm drill bit
Then used a flat wheel to finish it up the the line

Right, went out to see how my xenons were adjusted, level wise, very good, have a good straight cutoff and they stretch futher in my lane with a nice step down basically spot on the centre road markings, BUT they need to be moved up a tad, need to have a read up on how far a beam should stretch.
Went down a dark lane and the low beam is really short, talking about 5m in front of me, high beam is spot on, but a bit more fiddling about over the weekend me thinks
Ah a quick search and they are meant to reach 100ft, mine are around 20, so yes a bit more adjustment needed

You might find the top holding bolts/adjusters will be seized, I had to get new ones
