Yep- grills, rubs strips, grab handle and same idea as yourself with a black spoiler. My painter finding it hard to get his hands on paint is holding up the job though!

I think my guy is getting some delivered... whoever decided van mods isn't an essential service needs their heads checked

Cheers though!

With lock down still in place I managed to complete several jobs on the van
Front & Rear new brake discs and pads. Opted for ebc ones, went for the 312mm upgrade for the front and stick to the standard 256mm on the rears plus new ultimax pads from them as well. Seem a lot better than the cheap ones that someone had fitted previously. Plus fluid change.
Fitted new Skoda Octavia vrs front calipers to replace the corroded old ones, direct fit if you have the correct size hub, do not need to extend the brake lines either.
New master cylinder, what a ballache that is to do haha.
The Touran door card modification, gives the interior a nicer feel to it, a dremmel cutter comes in handy when cutting around the wing mirror black plastic covers.
Like all things you repair one thing and another breaks
Next job is to replace the radiator as this is now leaking, surrounding pipe joints are bone dry, I will try and document this as I could not see a how to on this, if folks like.
Last of all, scan the van to see why my glowplug light is flashing, last scan showed a dtc, pointing to the brake light switch which I did not plug in correctly, so I’m hoping it’s not this.
Keep safe people
Dan

Hey loglifter,
I'm interested in doing a similar fit in my Caddy and was wondering where you sourced the arm rest/center console from and was it from a Caddy or other VW model?
Aso dig those seats.
Cheers, Dean

Looking very nice sir. May I ask how you wired up the USB mod? I like that configuration and was wondering if you used a piggyback fuse spur for the mod if so can you recall which number fuse was used?
Cheers,
Dean

Hi Dean
My original dash tray came factory fitted with a 12v socket outlet, and this would have been fused.
Anyway I removed this tray and unplugged it, and replaced with one from the scrappy's that was plain. I then tapped into the +ve and -ve at just behind the plug for the original 12v socket
I then fitted this unit from Amazon into the new plain tray
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07 ... UTF8&psc=1
This unit also came with a 12v socket outlet, which so I replaced with another USB outlet
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07 ... UTF8&psc=1
This second USB outlet came with a cable that was fused at 10A, so I actually used that as well for my feed. That will have a fuse behind it as well from the OEM socket outlet if that makes sense ?
