Re: What did you do to your van today?
Darkside flip kit and b8 shocks fitted to rear as part of the b14 kit. White line rear arb fitted as well
Had to go hunting around for leaf springs on a Saturday before people shut as one snapped in half as soon as I removed the shackle so replaced both sides to be on the safe side.
Give it all a good clean up tomorrow before getting all tightened up and new wheels on

Got it dropped today with the new alloys on the rear
Think the bronze bola and blackberry work quite well together

Finally got around to doing an info video for my Fiamma Low Loader bike carrier conversion.
Not great, but hopefully helpful.

Re: What did you do to your van today?
Yay !
Got a new HDPE board to mount my cooker burner on.
Chose a nice Grey Granite board to sort of match the rest of the fittings.
When it arrived I was a little disappointed as it was a bit scratched and had obvious shiny production tool marks
Luckily - A quick rub down with a grey Scotchbrite pad and it looks much better
Half way on this side ... As it arrived on the left of this image Better check it fits now !
Phew
Looks nicer than the blue one, though functionally no different.
Just got to drill a few holes now ...

New caddy owner (14 SWB DSG in red).
I've removed all the old boards in the back, took out the bulkhead, cleaned the inside and run the g900 camera cable to the back door.
Need to work out how to power it next. Then start on sound deadening.

Cursed it for making me take the VFR to work in the p*ssing rain . Need to fit a new rear caliper, discs and pads this weekend, if they turn up.

Least you get a bit of weather protection on a VFR mate. Not as much as a caddy though

Paid for and brought it home! Ex BG 2017 2.0
Plan is to use as a day van once removed all the racking and done the assorted jobs in the back.
Excited to get started but it’ll be a longer term project as I’m not that handy. This forum seems great for advice though, so thanks to everyone who offers up helpful info.

Re: What did you do to your van today?
Busy day for me, doorcards off. Lots of sound proofing on the door skin and foam onto the inside of the door card. New switches with the silver tips because why not.
New speakers in, and caddy life mirrors on. Door cards came away perfectly, really off half turn nut things on the bottom but nice an easy, likely need to pay some stupid take to VW, snapped a mount on the drivers side sail panel, though looks like I can remove that without the entire door card which is a blessing. Also decided to wrap the door grabs which came out passable for now. May try some more on other touches to tie it in.
Mirror caps came out a bit flat, so some point I will whip them off light sand and lay a thickish layer of clear. But its liveable for the time being.
One question, I have one of those addon harnesses for tweeters as mine didn't have them. How in the actual Jeffery do you run the cables from the back of the headunit harness, to the stock tweeter locations! I lifted the dashboard tray as it seemed a good start but I cannot see how to run the rest of it
Anywho some photos!

Re: What did you do to your van today?
Today's job included removing the matt black roof wrap and fitting some genuine roof rails. Also replaced a broken ball pin that holds the rear light on.
2016 Indium Grey SWB 150bhp.

Carpets in the rear on either side, plus rear doors. Took me absolutely ages but the 4 way stretch carpet is surprisingly forgiving.
