Handbrake
Well lads, my handbrake is to say the least..... Shite! Is there any way of adjusting it at all? I put a new set of rear pads in about 20k ago and this is suppose to tighten it up. Its been poor since the day I had the van. I konw loads of people with caddys and its 50/50 some are good and some are crap. Had an 8x4 trailer on the other day, empty on a hill and it bearly held it! I doubt the cable is streached as I bought it with 19 000 miles on it and the man that owned it looked after it like a baby...

Re: Handbrake
you need to take off the cover around the handbrake its just a few starheads holding it on.
and you will see the nut at the back of the handbrake hope that helps you.
