Picked up a Caddy today!
Aiming to be a 'modular' support car for everything from shopping/allotment to kayaking/biking/Camper Support.
Will be a four seater, with floor hardlined and possibly a unit to one side in the rear to hold swappable boxes for different purposes.
Previous owner seemed to look after it well, including for some reason lining the whole floor with vinyl. Spent much of the afternoon stripping that out.
Lots of work to come...

Re: Maxi Life - Kayak/Camper Support Vehicle
Stripping out - rearmost row is never going back in. Right middle row is out, probably to be left in fitted whilst we've got the car.
Irritating rubbing strips fitted - bolts just turn without loosening...
Any ideas?
Otherwise, vinyl out and really quite nice carpet underneath.
One rounded bolthead, will have to find the part number and order some replacements.
I've also ordered:
Wind deflectors
Smoked side repeaters
Auto lights switch
Few other projects planned...

First mod done - warning.
It's boring as hell...
Heko wind deflectors fitted. What wasn't boring, was figuring out why, even after removal the offside window kept triggering 'pinch protect'... Sorted thanks to some googling and playing with the key in the lock.

From changing the seats in mine today, I found the splined bolts are seemingly made from toffee as they were soft as hell... only just managed to get away with using them.

Yep. Just awful.
Genuinely seem to have been specced from a material 'just able' to take one torqueing...
The one I rounded out was from the rear load attachment points. I don't doubt the seat bolts are just as rubbish!
