Thought I’d do some little jobs on the Van today. Want to get the battery bag off, and fit proper box, and was planning on putting on some rear reflectors under the valence.
Van has been in garage for about 10 weeks, and she’s as flat as a turd 💩
Sitting on the charger, so having a lazy day now 😂😂

When coded is mentioned on the forum it usually refers to vcds which is a software and obd dongle that let's the user play with the manufacturers settings on the vehicle like a main dealer does.

In this case when the lights are changed like that the van needs to be told they've been changed and how to operate them.

Vcds is a handy tool a lot of us have but it's often an expense people don't want so see if your local garage has one or if there's a member on here local to you should you ever need something coding in.

New wiper blades and locking wheel nuts for my van :)

I didn't realise how bad the old wipers were until I put the new ones on and all of the glass cleared

Replaced the twin leaf springs on my maxi life with single leafs - such a difference. Weirdly, it made it sit higher.. but there you go. Will need to drop a notch or two on the shackle at the back but it rides great

Thank you.
I think I understand that it must be coded with the obd, but it will take someone really capable.

Love the amount of tint on those side repeaters. Most are too dark for my liking, but those look spot on! 👍

@ dubbsley I think the level of tint on those side repeaters is perfect mate. I’m not normally a fan of the tinted ones, these are the nicest I’ve seen IMO.

Few little bits this weekend...
Rear wiper gone... Gold vinyl backing and mat black badge and Lettering.

Not sure if Gloss black would have looked better...

But I definitely prefer it to the crome.Image

Today i fixed loose wiring on front drivers seat (seats were in van when I bought it ) .Not installed or hooked up how I would have done it .I would have re pinned it to work correctly or had something made but whoever fitted them before me just chopped and crimped very poorly . Once I sorted that I then treated it to its first deep clean of 2021.
