What did you do to your van today?

Post by Cabbs »

I did a little lockdown purchase.
The best £20 I’ve ever spent.
New upgrades for the Touran dash.

I also gathered lots of valuable info from Lister79 and fried his brain. ImageImage. Cheers Chris mate.

What head unit is that mate? I've got the exact one but not sure what it is and I've been meaning to update the software on it

Looks really good. Loving the contrast of the plastics against the white.

A roof spoiler in white with a black edge like the old Sierra cosworths had would look cool Image

Puddle lights, fitted, wired and coded, made easy by following the guide in the “how too” section of the forum!

Looks good mate. What mirrors have you fitted them in? I bought the puddle lights and looms a while ago but held back on fitting them as I believe it’s abit awkward in the new caddy mirrors

Cabbs caddy life 2016+ mirrors. I bought a set of aftermarket puddle LED’s, removed the cover and then waterproofed them with bonding. They only sit about 6mm proud of the lower casing when installed.

There should be enough room to fit the std golf ones, you’d need to remove the top cover and the mirror bezel (2 screws & 4 double clips, quite fragile little clips too) and this will give you access to check fitment without removing the whole mirror.
