You will probably only need the two side parts and the lid, your caddy will already have the base part on that the battery sits on, so you’ll have that piece spare.

Definitely makes it look neater under the bonnet.

@R8umar hi, did you change something in this area?
When my car has stock Lighting section in longcoding say "Caddy-Touran standard lighting" , and when i enable tail lights to be on with drl in VCP i have this photo now.
On VCDS this page is in red and say that if you don't know what you are doing-dont make any changes. Image

@Doc . I assume he means if the stop start battery is physically larger then is there a battery box to fit. All I know is I have a stop/start model & the battery is located in a box & came that way from the factory.

No, the 68ah 380Ah AGM battery for start stop system in 1.6 tdi is 278x175 and height 190 mm, normal size

I thought I’d have a go at powder coating. I have a spare pair of front calipers with mounts so I can go up to 312mm. Might as well make them look nice before they go on...Image

I’ve also rubbed off the casting marks and smoothed then a bit Image

I considered going bigger but want to keep the ability to run smaller winter wheels due to the weather/legalities here in Germany.
