I don’t see the point in these. I’ve never had an issue with the cup holders

You can get equally good power from a naturally aspirated R36 engine. Add a supercharger and your getting even better figures. Maybe it came up at a good price!

Made a start on the the rear cargo space, took the bulkhead out and after a damn good clean started to sound deaden the panels. We're using Noico 2mm stuff, cheap enough but makes a massive difference already! I'll get a few pictures once it's finished.

Hey pal,

Few reasons I went for the vr6 build ...
With everyone doing gti swaps i initially looked into this ....I drove a few gtis even an edition 30 .
Fast... but the noise and the farting gearbox just didn't do it for me.
The weight isn't really an issue in my eyes its a van and not a track car...
Only 1 other R36 swapped caddy that belongs to Hef on this group and im a sucker for the sound...just can't beat it.
Also the opportunity to purchase a whole R36 passat came up and I couldn't turn it down.
I also didnt want dsg so I have a manual gearbox for it and yes I will supercharge it in the years to come.
Hope that answers your questions
Cheers Rich

@deluxedetailnz. Ah i see mate. Interesting info. Would love to do somethng like that in future i must admit. V6 do sound nice. Had an old v6 bongo camper and although only 2.5l did growl when flooring it 👍👍

Cleaned it, good polish. Mounted better work lights in the back cabin and a small lightbar for better backing light :D
