Re: What did you do to your van today?
Hey guys! New to the 2k caddy forum. Today I finally started the caddy wind up windows to the touran electric windows + door cards. 2009 caddy with 55 plate touran parts. Got the inner all sorted and the door cards trimmed and on but stuck with the wiring. Everything is plugged in and I'm getting a click from the passenger side and it lights up when my lights are on but nothing else. The drivers side has nothing at all, no lights, no power no click etc. Ive added the relevant fuses but just want to double check the wiring? Do I need to add a live wire to both sides? Or just the drivers?

Re: What did you do to your van today?
@boostedgp what material is the black stuff that the fork mounts are screwed into? I'm currently using some 1" ply but it weighs a ton when trying to lift it in and out. Thanks.

@PaulC61
It is 22mm pine. I have the crew cab ( swb 7 seater) and have Taken the rear seat rail mount points as the mount for the plank
The rail are ally and the mounts are 40x40x3mm mildsteel. And round tube with some pvc pipe inside it. I still need to fit the pvc end caps so the steel doesn’t mark the forks. And used quick release levers to make it quick to slide the mounts on the rails.
I won’t remove it unless I need to fit the 3rd row of seats.

Re: What did you do to your van today?
@boostedgp thanks for the reply. I was hoping it was going to be some sort of thick plastic that you had used. I might use your idea of making it more of a 'U' shape for stability in the back.

Unfortunately not. Pine is pretty light. Lighter than ply I think.
This is a V1 prototype. Already have a few changes planned.
Definitely the next one will follow the rear plastic trim

Just a clean, polish and wax today while the weather was nice.
Got the alloys wrapped in some new rubber, but waiting for it to be lowered before they go on. Booked into Darkside in a few weeks for Bilsteins.
