Does it have box section pieces up inside the chassis rails?

Yet another oil change, just because it's so simple with the sump drain plug.

Done at DubUnit as always.

Does anybody have the part number for these coat hanger brackets for the b pillar trims?
I have the actual coat hangers but require these brackets that bolt to the shell, I’ve searched everywhere for a part number to no avail....
Thanks in advance

Thanks, Did they come with fasteners to mount to the shell? I already have the coat hooks with screws

From factory they are spot welded. If you're going to fit them yourself use self tappers.

Thanks for that, that’s also helped, when I got the b pillar bulkhead delete trims used in the caddy Kombi it baffled me how the coat hangers attached. The parts guy at VW van Centre took the coat hangers off a factory kombi to look and this had the brackets but my standard maxi didn’t.
I’ve come to learn that there are subtle differences in the shell between variants.
One set of the tie down hooks in a maxi are in a different place to the maxi kombi, only by a couple of inches. I noticed this when I ordered the factory kombi rear rubber floor and the cutouts are in a different place for 2 of the hooks.

@J_con make sure you check that before you fit it. With all that paint and adhesive not sure it will fit flush. You might need to sand back the edge. So it fits a bit more flush.

I'm no paint expert, but considering the size of it I'd be tempted to sand it all back and start again in order to try and eliminate those marks 👍

Mud flap Sunday

Backs on. Shame about the tyre fitter tightening up one of the front bolts beyond being able to budge it ImageImage

And a very late arrival that I almost forgot buying. Wolfsburg caps
