Need some advice. Charged the car and have taken for a spin, and all good. I now have engine light on ? It’s not misfiring, any ideas please ? Is this due to battery going completely flat perhaps ?
Cheers for some advice

@Ripley55 hi mate, my battery has died a few times and never had the engine light come on, mine has been on ever since I overfilled the adblue last time though lol
Ahh @gazza31112
Strange coincidence, as 3 weeks ago I filled up with Adblue as well, and may have put a drop too much in as well, but didn’t notice a light afterwards, and obviously haven’t been anywhere, can it just be cleared on ignition, or is it VCDS scan and reset ?

I tried to clear mine but it just comes back, apparently from what I have read the sensor needs recalibrating, you can only refill the amount it says on the dash, I just filled until it overflowed, which apparently confuses the sensor.
Not certain of this, it's just what Iv read.
I haven't bothered to get it checked as my warranty has just run out lol, Iv got a fault code of failure to read NOX sensor b, I assume that's something to do with adblue, but still runs fine.

Ripley55 The sensor may need replacing or resetting/ recalibrated. From what I’ve heard if you delete the fault code it just comes back. If it’s to do with the NOx sensor that is.
