I was thinking of doing that but they will give me money for the old one. I may buy a cheap one at some point for a few quid and have a mess around though good tip gents
I know where you're coming from though.....brakes, even on a bike, are voodoo!
Yesterday, the camper developed a sticky caliper.....today, I'm going to attempt to free it off, but it might need a rebuild......andd new discs and pads and flexi lines and bleed......etc.
Scares the bejesus out of me!
Funny you should say that Pat, I did the brakes on my MTB the other day. I tried to change the fluid like I would on my motorbike. I didn’t realise on a push bike you put the oil in at the caliper end and collect it in a funnel screwed into the reservoir!
I had to look on YouTube to find out.
You’re braver than me mate, and more knowledgable too, you’ll manage it
What a time consuming job this was and what pain to get out. It has two clips one on each side they are so far inside the barrel I had to use two pins to get it out.
But now the new one is in the ignition now works properly.
