What is the actual purpose of puddle lights, are they purely cosmetic ...?

Had my mirror caps sprayed, but wasn’t happy with the mirror base and trims so wrapped them in gloss black... tricky!

I hear you @gazza31112 😆
I’m gonna get some serious stuff done when this is over !! 😂😂
Powerflex bushes, and big brakes upgrade I think
I even felt guilty going out to do it. The guidelines apparently say that you shouldn’t be really doing stuff like washing your car, as it’s not essential. Where it changes is, that if you’re an essential worker, you can maintain your vehicle, and ensure Windows and lights are clean and appropriate for use on the highways. I’m one of those, so will be using her Golf to travel to work. Poor old Caddy just sitting looking pretty 😩

I no mate, bad really Iv been working on the van ever since all this started, it's parked pretty much out of the way, so I don't really see the harm of it! If it wasn't for my van I would have gone crazy by now!

I’ve already got the camber adjustable bushes from Powerflex online, watching a few sets of brakes on eBlag
Audi S3 Brembo set, (Brembo GT 4 pot calipers
Part number for kit from brembo: 1A5.6008A
Brembo 330x28mm vented slotted rotors
Adaptors for Mk5 platform cars, just come off a Gti will Straight on a 8P S3 A3 etc with 5X112 setup
Braided lines
Nearly new pads
Discs have zero lip, basically new
and a few sets of Golf MK7 R sets 😎

Some great work going on people!! Here’s my effort from today!!

Image

I need to go out in a bit, now it’s dark, and adjust them as best I can.... then tidy up the wiring, as mine aren’t the final production model.... they look amazing though, and although took me most of the day to do, I’d never taken the bumper off the caddy, so wanted to take my time.... is there a thing as time now? It doesn’t seem like it!!
