Since the sun's out I thought I'd change from yellow calipers to grey. Yellow calipers and the amount of break dust this thing generates aren't compatible ImageImageImage

As the sun was shining and in the spirit of social distancing, I washed, dried and Harley Waxed the Caddy.

Today’s job was fitting HID kits to main and full beam of my new DRL headlights. Will get a pic later in the dark but the projector main beam were spot on with halogen bulbs so should be awesome with xenonsImage

Gloss black caddy life mirrors/scirroco modules on today, lots of coding needed until working properly, ups down, downs up on mirror adjustment and windows, only drivers side puddle light working, LHD switch was sent so it's upside down.
Swapping the antennas was the worst part, couldn't get them out the standard mirrors because of the plugs not fitting through the tiny gap they give you without cutting them and rejoining them up again, but they work, so all good.
They JUST fit in the smaller mirror caps. So not a perfect day, but good overall, they are finally on, and I must say looking good, so much better than the Dumbo ears.
(Ignore the missing headlight, that's tommorows jobImageImageImage)ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Gazza, The plugs come off the leads mate which allows the cables to fit through the mirror body

new head unit with revere camera and component speakers went in this week. Looks great and I’m buzzing about it.

Pioneer head and camera , focal speakers in the door cards and tweeters in dash.

Fitted a set of new tyre last week as the insides were eat off them. so after a bit of reading I got a set powerflex adjustable camber bushing off eBay for €32, sweet.
I fitted them this morning and had it tracked at the local tyre Center as there machine has a setting for lowered suspensions on the caddy.
I done know if it the tracking or the new bushing but it feels so so much nicer to drive now, may sort it my high MPG as the Toe was way out
