Door sensor problem

Post by Codling893 »

Does anyone know how to sort this sensor problem, saying my rear doors open when its no. Hoping to get it sorted tomorrow to save a 50mile drive next week to sort it under warrenty. Also has stopped my rear wiper im guessing thats because it thinks the door is open ?

Caddy 1.6tdi 64 reg trendline

Cheers in advance

If it is the back door then just unbolt it and pull latch down and there is a multiplug connected to it they are very common for corrosion. Just unplug it then re fit and try it.
