Thinking that I'll cut the outside edge of the bulkhead and refit it and the cover with carpet. Anyone got any better ideas?
Before you cut it down...where about do you live?

I've got a cut down one already which I'd like to swap for a bulkhead with mesh.

"No" says I, "I'll do that myself, it'll be laugh."
Well, umpty two hours later and after a load of cursing and not a little swearing, said racking is out.
Wasn't a lot of fun but at least it's gone.
Bulkhead tomorrow and then on to evicting the precussion section who seem to have taken up residence in the back.
Peakrock on here has made a great job of repurposing the BG racking for camping with, his build thread:

Couple of quick jobs for today. Finished off the centre console which I'm 99% happy with, the leather hand brake cover was not as good as I was hoping so that came off. I will probably get a new matching OEM handbrake cover. Fitted the resprayed alloys. Glad I went with the satin finish as I think gloss would have been to much. And to finish off a quick run round with the pressure washer. Next week the caddy goes off to be ceramic coated, I was really impressed by the winter valet it had in October, with the coating they gave it only just starting to fade.

What coating did your detailer use in October? 6 months is a very short life span...

I’m about to do the same with my bulkhead so if you the other guy doesn’t want to swap or is too far away, I’d be happy too, location dependant of course. I’m just outside Edinburgh

It was just a winter valet the company do as part of their services. They put something on the paint and plastics etc for winter, not the full on ceramic coatings. I knew this at the time and was so impressed at how much easier it was to keep it clean that I've gone for the Gyeon ceramic coating.

Started fitting the GTE Customs alcantara seat covers today. Apparently the GTE adds at least 20bhp. Image

Not seen truck racing in years. Didn’t think they still did it! Where was the race meeting?

Nothing much just gave it a good valet inside and out, including taking the seats out after a year and a half of work horse neglect, came up like new!Image
