What seats fit a 08 plate caddy, advice please.

Hi

Now my van is going to be fixed I'm after a set of front leather seats.
Off which other VW's do fit in a 08 plate sdi van.
Plus which steering wheel and arm rest fits.

Mk4 or mk5 golf.

Completely new to this scene and need a lot of advice.

Mk5 platform stuff will fit straight in using Touran bases, or bolt onto Caddy bases if you drill two extra (rear) holes in the Caddy frame. 10 minute job, maximum.

Mk4 platform can be made to fit, but will need either fabrication work to the rails, or start swapping rail/seat bases padding/material. Doable, but grief.

Been looking at some Porsche seats do they fit or are they tooooo much grief,
Plus I want heated ones.

No idea about Porsche, you asked about VW platform. Ultimately anything can be made to fit, depends on how handy you are with fabrication and tools, or how deep your pockets are. I've never seen a Caddy with Porka seats, but don't doubt it's ultimately doable. Remember you can also look at Audi/Seat/Skoda seats too that share the Mk5 platform onwards, heated seats too (with the appropriate wiring for them).

With regards to armrest, the Touran centre console with arm rest is the common and straight forward one. Steering wheels, loads of choice and if you have the three spoke Caddy wheel, a lot will take your exisiting airbag too (think mk5 golf GT wheel for example).

Audi A1 seats fit on to caddy bases no drilling no cutting, 4bolts and change easy

ive put all sorts in t4s over the years, and would do a caddy much the same, thinking i might have a look for some new seats around christmas when i have some time off work......

Would T5 single front seats fit without modification or little modification?

Porsche 911 seats have different slides which are at the back a bit moulded so they Will not easy fit. But where a Will is a way so with extra efford you can put those in as Well.

Hi,

I have a 07 and 09 plate caddy Mk3. I have put Touran seats in the 08 with Touran bases. Am I correct in concluding Golf Mk5 seats will fit with Touran bases?
