Lapiz blue pd130 swapped caddy

Post by Leeoncupra »

Hi all

Cant really claim fame as the van was bought like this , I've added a few things and had some mechanical work done

Spec of the van

Interior
2019 audi a4/5 sline front seats
Touran rear seat conversion
Touran door cards
Touran carpet
Mk7 golf r steering wheel
Fully carpeted out
Dab head unit

Exterior
Full respray in lapiz blue
Sportline front splitter and spoiler
Side skirts
Side rail covers
Touran front bumper
Black projector headlights
Mk4 tinted rear lights
Smoothed rear doors
Wind deflectors

Engine
Pd130 asz engine
ERF o2m 6 speed gearbox
Smf conversion with 6 paddle clutch
4 recon injectors
Gtb1752 turbo
Egr delete
Elephant mod

Wheels/suspension/brakes
19inch rotirom LAS-R 8.5j
Stance+ coilovers and rear flip kit
Mk7 golf R front 340mm disks and calipers

So when I purchased the van it had a stutter, long story short it was the crank sensor wires was damaged so all repaired and van revs round cleanly

Replaced 5speed gearbox with long ratio o2m 6 speed gearbox

Fitted my rotiform alloys I removed from my previous mk2 leon cupra

Raised the coilovers up slightly on the front , was going to adjust the back but the adjustment shackles are not on the van so it is permanently set to its lowest setting so need to acquire some of these and fit some centralize plates

Plans for the future!

It's in for remap on sunday now it has a stronger clutch so cope with the torque!

Add a 12v tv in the rear for the kids

Raise the rear up slightly so I can carry passengers without it rubbing

Would like to do a temporary removablebed with would go over the rear seats once folded down just for added practicality if I needed to do an overnight

Would also love a roof tent so the family could do an overnight!

Van is used more as a family vehicle as it's just useful in any situation!

So another little win today was having a back box delete as my original exhaust has been dragged over that many curbs in its life the outer skin had split open

Popcorn limiter sounds amazing now lol
