Caddy dog carrier :)

Post by Johan_f72 »

Hi I just got my first Caddy and I try to get some ideas how to haul my dogs in the Caddy, I would love to see pics and pls post links to builds. I’m interested in heating/fan, insulation, built/bought cage and other useful things, I’m thinking of building a Rpi temp guard with display showing temp and maybe sending an alert to me if the temp is to high or low.

Hi my van came installed with these custom steel dog cages,
I had no use for these so ended up selling them to a greyhound owner,
They had plastic blocks on door jams and silent hinges,
You can see how the doors opened below I thought they were very well designed.
There was no manufacturer badge but hope pics might help you.

@johns6809
Damn they look nice, I’m Thinking about buying a Caddy Life to get a car that is already insulated and open all the way for the heating/cooling for the dogs.

Changed to a life for the seats plus still had space for the dogs. They’re happy just being in there, it’s a bonus if we go anywhere
