Came across extra door seals from the caddy life on illcats. Not the cheapest but door shuts with a much nicer thud. Hopefully will cut out some wind noise too. Right side: 2k0837702

I finally won the war on my drivers door

(it’s not trimmed yet obvs) it started out as the normal touran door with the 4 windows switch etc but I couldn’t deal with the mismatch. The passenger switch is down by the pocket & the other switches I’ve relocated

@the swan fiend Had a chance to take it on the motorway today and to my ears the noise from other cars is slightly less and the wind whistle from the wing mirrors is reduced too but its not a big difference at all. Definitely got to get the mirrors changed tho. From what I've read they are a big upgrade to reduce noise

Ahh ok mate. I’m interested in anything that makes it quieter. Noise in vehicles is a pet hate of mine. Unless it’s heavy metal

Just give the van a quick wash before it goes to the body shop to get the roof/ bonnet and Other dents out

Lost my patience with dash storage the other day and order a brand new one (the last one I got off ebay had broken hinge and was not closing/opening properly). Should have done it long ago. It works flawlessly.
