So i've used vagcom, i have a problem with my passenger control module

01044- control module incorrectly coded
005- no or incorrect basic setting/adaption

Anyone know how to recode or kinda know the problem with it?

i have a savage battery drain, checked the AMP draw with a multimeter and nothing im wondering if this is the problem to my battery drainage issue as i think it could be sending constant power to that module.

If the module is coded for rear doors, it's possible the main BCM is staying "awake" thinking the door is still open.
There's multiple reasons for a battery draining, you're definitely starting in the rite place by resolving any fault codes.

So this first ever scan i did i saved this log, the battery was on battery maintainer as I knew it would die and both my rear lights aren't plugged in hence the issue with them and drivers door was open so was the bonnet. other than that everything was shut and off as normal.

I don't even know where to start on that Autoscan, that is one hell of a list of faults.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say the 18+ volts showing in one of the modules may possibly have done damage somewhere. Electronics reacts very different to over voltage Vs under voltage.

As for the passenger door control module, try and set the coding as 0132144 and clear all faults, see if the "incorrect coding" comes back.

Thanks for the reply, shall try that tomorrow what will that coding do?

Yeah I'm unsure as to why the voltage varies throughout.. might be the cause of the drain?

I've just copied coding from a non "incorrect coding" caddy Autoscan. I've not identified the individual bits to work out where yours is wrong but assuming from the part numbers it is from a Touran while your driver's door module is from a Caddy4.

Sorry forgot to say it's the passenger side, this van did have the door module changed reckon they put the wrong module in?

Yep, the modules are from two different vehicles.
The coding I've given is for the passenger side.

I've had a look at my passenger door module and the number on it is 5K0 959 792 it's a 2015 caddy
